I am a father, a former journalist, an Aspie, a law student, a caffeine addict, a midday dog walker, a nominal Christian, a lover of tobacco, a midnight reader, a seeker, a wiseguy, a cook, a writer.

I know these things because I’ve been trying to figure myself out for the last decade or so. Or maybe I don’t know anything about myself and my actions are prompted by forces beyond my control. This is true: I have an incessant need to understand my experience and to shape it into a meaningful narrative. I think that we all do this. It is human.
